Has EA/Maxis said anything official about whether Sims 4 and Win11 play nice with each other? Microsoft's started pushing notifications to my desktop bugging me to upgrade, but in addition to not wanting to brick my PC, I'm concerned more specifically with making sure my games run right on it. I'm sure web apps won't care one way or the other—if Microsoft broke work-from-home they'd have an Internet riot on their hands—but gamers often get kicked in the ghoulies when MS messes around with something in the core.

I haven't had any issues running Sims 4 since I upgraded to Windows 11. In fact, the game seems to run better, and my temp readings are a bit cooler.

I didn't find the temp of my laptop got any better. But i didn't look at specific numbers I just feel if it's as hot lol

It seems to run about the same, if not smoother.

Really? I didn't find the temp of my laptop got any better. But i didn't look at specific numbers I just feel if it's as hot lol

Wonder when Windows 11 will support the i7 intel chip :( won't be upgrading until then)

It's awful!!! I always had the option to raise or lower the power. Before starting my game naturally I raised it to the maximum. After the stupid upgrade the option is not there and the game lags.

I took the little quiz Windows offered and it seems my current gaming rig can't handle what they offer in Windows 11. Drat it all I hate, hate, HATE Windows 10. By the way, did I mention I hate Windows 10?

I can't upgrade yet because my PC doesn't have this new type of chip needed to run it. If I ever do get to upgrade it better not cause me any simming issues. I'm kind of obsessed right now lol.

Windows 11 doesn't have the "move files" option on the toolbar. You have to drag and drop files into the game. That's the only thing I've noticed so far that I hate.
