sims 4 blank white page refuses to load

I try booting up the sims 4, and at first it seems to load fine, and the the sims 4 screen comes up. But afterwards it gets stuck on a blank white screen with the white arrow cursor and refuses to load. I've tried deleting the cache, closing all programs I didn't need running as that can eat up the memory and even deleted a huge batch of CC, which I don't use or found it looked ugly in the game, thinking it may be bogging the game down but it still does the blank white screen thing. I even looked at any mods and checked to see if they were out of date and deleted/updated them. My computer isn't the best, but up until now the sims 4 worked fine. Is there anything I can do to get it to stop the white blank screen thing?

  • I found the conflicting CC and deleted it. It works again thank god. Thanks for the advice.

  • Are you running legacy or a normal game? Are your drivers updated? It could be caused by a lot of things. I would start with the mods and cc though. After you remove all mods, cc, repair the game and get a clean slate the game should load. Then you can add the mods and cc back to your game in small batches to narrow down the problem. However if you remove everything and repair the game and the game does not load you might have to reinstall or have someone look at your crash logs and computer specs.
