Sims 4 Cheats Are Not Working

Repairing the game can help for Macs as well. Try doing it and see if that helps.

If the issue remains, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

Because its just bb.moveobjects don't add on at the end, then just type it in again to turn it off

Hello @Madmanningtj .
Try coming completely out of the game. Then go back into the game, try typing in the cheat again and then test to see if it working in build mode then. Make sure that you don't type in the quotation marks.

For some reason every time I type in testingcheats true it just won't work! It keeps saying unable to execute command. Can anyone tell me why it's happening? I'll appreciate the help.

I always type testingcheats on / testingcheats off
Works for me, maybe try that? I should point out though I've had no need to use it since the latest patch.

I think it's certain cheats. I just tried to use the careers one and it did nothing for my Politician. :disappointed: BUT...other cheats I have used works...

The cheat to promote sims in the politics career is careers.promote Activist
You may perhaps be using a different cheat?
