I was reading a few things online the other day and saw a news story that Sims 4 was available to download for free. Ive been playing Sims mobile and Sims freeplay on my phone and have really enjoyed them, so I couldn't pass up this download. My download finished earlier and I've played for a little bit. I'm trying to get used to moving my sim around the house and around town. It's different than playing on my phone. Anyone have any tips or suggestions for this game? Anyone want to add me as sim friends? Thanks for the help!

The cool thing about this game is there is no right or wrong way of playing it. If you don't want your sim to interact with random strangers, you can get your sim to loads of other things like just drinking or dancing at the lounge or bar. Or maybe stay at home and build their skills such as painting or playing the piano. Get a pet (you need a dlc for this), etc etc.

Thanks for all of the help everyone. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. It's going to be a busy, busy summer for me, so I probably won't get to play as often as I would like to, but I am enjoying it so far. One of my sims had a baby and it was in the bassinet for awhile. I didn't play for a few days and now the baby is gone. I've read some comments that she might have been taken away for neglect? Or she might be floating around the house somewhere and just needs to be put back into the crib? Can someone tell me what happened to my baby? LOL

It’s likely she was taken away from neglect. This isn’t supposed to happen and is a known bug with people who play multi household.

Thanks for this information. I wasn't away from the game for very long and then she was gone. Very strange. Hopefully it's fixed soon.
