Sims 3 looks awesome for 2009, whereas Sims 4 looks decent for 2010.

That's the whole point. It looks equally terrible on a low-end laptop as it does on the rapidly disappearing gaming PC. No more PC-ness envy.

I think I like the Sims 4 Olympus concept Sims better than the Sims we have now. :(

The thing about the hair is in TS2-3 the style gave hobbyists a lot of options to work with without it looking of place in your game.

Many CC contributors have just said forget it and went back to making these styles for TS4 but how do you reconcile your sim having hair like this,

which is basically TS3 hair. You going to go through and un-ken doll hair your entire neighborhood, stop and un-ken doll hair the unhoused sims when the game imports them?

Ughh.. that grass is amazing, that sky is amazing... If we could have had a world like that, and physics like was shown in that dance video... I'd have fallen in love with this game. Load screens and all.

Yeah probably why I like it. Reminds me of TS3 hair. :) The Sims Resource has made displayed a lot of nice hairs in generally over the years for all the games. I love what Simmers have done making ombre hair colors. The laptop mode in the Sims 4 really makes the CCs hairs look funky sadly. I use the 3D eyelashes CCs that were shown on a Sim earlier. The Sims 4 lashes do not look like that without CC.
