- To be honest, when I first saw the Sims 4 trailer and what the Sims looked like, I felt very disappointed to say the least. It felt like a step backwards from the realism the sims 2-3 etc were heading into. However, after playing the game and getting a feel for it, it really isn't that bad. I've gotten use to the cartoony style look on the Sims and their surroundings etc. Now one of the things I love about the Sims 4 is that cartoon appearance. It makes me feel like I'm playing with clay...I like clay... :p

Aww you must have laptop mode turned on in game. :( But I do agree some Simmers do have a phobia with any CC or mods or objects not made by EA which is fine. "Scobre;13371610" wrote:

i don't have it turned on, and it isn't really ugly but it's very sharp looking. would be nice if it was smoother but i think that's just because of the game not accepting alpha hairs :/- Scobren11 years agoLegend

Yeah I had to turn it off on mine too. I wish the game did accept them more. It was funny because with it turned on it used to turn all the hair blue. Now it gives CC hairs like white highlights after the patch to fix laptop lighting was done. "Scobre;13371624" wrote:

Hmm must be the Sims themselves then, because Sims 2 and 3 looked fine with CC on. :) But yeah I'll get some pictures to show some of my Sims with CCs on.
