I don't see the point of this thread, bashing graphics because it's a different style is stupid. Sims 4 is more cartoony, this can be a good or bad thing depending on the person. I personally prefer the cartoony look, but I can also see why people prefered The Sims 3 look. The Sims 3 can look pretty if done right, the Sims 4 can also look pretty if done right. The Sims 4 can look ugly if done wrong, the Sims 3 can also look ugly if done wrong.
Both styles have their pros and cons, but one isn't better than the other.
You guys are basically comparing apples to oranges. They are just very different styles, one is realistic, the other is cartoony.
my problem is not style but quality i dont have any problem with cartoon like sims, but low quality graphics anger me a lot when we are on 2015 and the game was made in 2014 and have graphic quality of 2000s, that my concern, we are on the 4 iteration of the game the minimum they must make is give a high quality animation game, if blizzard can update a 2004 game to top 2014-2015 graphic quality why maxis can't??? serious i dont get this "low ending peoples" unless that simmers peoples living in the poverty line i dont see none being able to afford at last a 2010 or 2011 pc quality, have a thrid generation I5 or something like that c'mon i my country where we have one of the worst taxes in the world, where we pay the double or even the triple of prices have a "average" pc is something very common and "cheap in a sense" of price, or we buy on sales or credit, again if in my country brazil where we have a lot of corruption, poverty and others problem have a "average pc" is not a pipe dream why in usa or others better countries peoples are still stucking in use 2000s pcs, where the prices compared with my country are literally "almost free".
just a exemple in my country the sims 4 shipped costing 140 buckets the deluxe edition (2x the usa price) 140 buckets here is a big deal is not something you give so "easy in a game"(now since the sales are pretty bad of sims 4 in my country the price dropped to 99,99 and still "high".) specially in a game so bad made, while in other hand sims 3 is completly vanishing from the shops i'm having very hard time in complete my collection i'm missing now supernatural and paradise island to complete it.

Simple, one is taking advantage of high-end hardware and engine and the other is trying to make a game that will run on a 10 year old granny computer *save lots of work too!*
yeah we get a toaster/calculator quality game, because somehow a good amount of simmers can't afford to pay for a "average pc" and are still playing on they 486 or something like that then we are being leveled to down, because is really more easy make a cheap game for peoples play in calculators than try to make high quality game.
that is when come my big anger if in order to play better games i go to the lengs of buy a better pc(making sacrifices to do it) then i'm waiting for a game to pay for what a expend i dont want to go back in time to play a new game this is non-sense logic i never see this before only in maxis/ea i see this happen for the first time in my life.
a good exemple is simcity despise the fiasco due to online mode, you dont see the game graphic quality "decrease" with each new game generation, each simcity have better graphic quality than previous game not "worst".
