That is what I suggest. When I first got a new laptop there was only room for base. So I got a 2 tb Seagate external. And I can put whatever I want on it. One thing I did t do when I first put everything on it was make sure that windows opened up to it. And after i did that it was working even better. I have all of my sims programs as well, like sims 4 studio, etc.
