Sims 4 Island Living update issues

Having the issues, yes! Workaround... no. :( I have just been saving my game every 20 minutes. Although now my game crashes when saving sometimes. I have reported this as well.

I had this problem before the hot fix patch after Island Living was released. You shouldn’t have anymore crashes in the game if you have the most recent hot fix patch. So the bugs should already be repaired. But I’m not sure if there are still crashes since I have not built anything recently.

This is currently happening to me!! Also since I purchased island living. During all game play including trying to save the game. Very frustrating!!

I'm not having issues with my game crashing since I changed the graphic settings (made a new profile with my graphic properties where it runs for performance rather than good graphics... it didn't change the graphics on my end... not sure how it works for others. But one problem i"ve noticed is with the lighting. The lights light up the walls and floor... but not the couches, counters and other items.. anyone else have this issue?

It seems sims is always full of glitches that they either fix but become an issue again later...or never fix. I know it's a very complex game and all... but even Origin is skrewed up and stays that way... ugh

oh man...well that's disheartening...I get the silly little glitches that we can work around until there is a fix, but the crashing each time a sim travels or when someone tries to save is so unacceptable. I wish they showed the same urgency they did when adding doors and windows crashed the game on console and the Lin-Z speaker was crashing the game on PC. I guess the whole community would have to report it for them to really get on it...I don't know what else to do. I see posts of other people with the same problem who are reporting it as well, but nothing. I get why some sim players get so angry. I feel bad for the devs when people get crazy, but I now get the root of the community's frustration.

My game is STILL crashing almost everyday. I have lost so much time played. It is very annoying, but I wont give up hope.
