Ignore it, mostly. The dislikes of one relatively “small” group of dislikers means little to EA. Here’s why:
On this very forum I’ve seen folks raging about how these “nonsense” kits are overpriced and promptly bought 1 or more packs from the moment they were available. EA got that money and doesn’t need to address it. I actually believe the kits are quite popular and there’s scope for them!
I’m sure the team sold many already. A fiver overpriced? A fiver is something one would spend quicker than $10, $20, $40. Folks are desperate for new content and when you’re desperate a fiver doesn’t seem so bad. EA knows the psychology behind that, they were clear about that too and this is why these kits exist and will sell.
