Sims 4 Likes and Dislikes? Increase activity?
I love the idea of these! but do they actually do anything? or just flavor text when a sim encounters something they like or dislike? If I give a sim 'likes' cooking, will they cook more?

The only thing I've noticed is that they get moodlets when they do things that they like or dislike. However, they don't work in the ways that I'd expect. I'd expect my sim who likes pop music to turn on the radio to pop music. Instead, they turn it to a station they hate, STILL dance to it and then get a negative moodlet that they don't like the music! Sims that like or dislike activities don't do them more or less than they did before either, which is something else that I'd expect. I'm hoping that this is just the start though and they tune this all better to work and have meaning because as of right now, it's meaningless except for your own story in your own head (which I could do before this system anyway).
