I agree with the OP, regardless whether they are gay or straight. I agree on the 'switch' thing. Once the player has decided what's it gonna be for a particular sim the game should be loyal to that.
That's not true, in Sims 3 sims you didn't give any direction yet yourself are bisexual. I've seen many gay couples in my game when I visited parks etc. They don't do age discrimination either :p
edit: 'plum', really...? Is 'bi' allowed? (edit2: ah, yes, it is)
