Sims 4 Royal and Legacy negative thread.

Now I'm glad I put the Get Famous pack on a different save file!

Normally I don’t need to post anything in this thread but came across possibly a glitch but possibly something that was overlooked.  My sim, Cassandra Goth, was doing the fourth Anansi trials while completing the first term at uni.  She completed the trial and got a boost to her noble career but it also boosted her uni subjects for some reason.  Instead of actually boosting them though, it reset them.  She failed the subjects that required a presentation and term paper because there was no option to redo them, and the other two classes came out as a C and a D.  So now she has to do an extra term at uni to complete the two subjects that she would have aced 😡.  I searched extensively but there was no way to cheat her grades to what they would have been expect for restarting the save without saving but I didn’t want to do that because I would have lost multiple days of gameplay.

Devious Ideals, don't seem to level great. I just spent a huge amount of time discovering and exploiting scandals during the Social Puppeteer Aspiration I think I ended up losing prestige... Maybe some Ideals need to be rebalanced as some are much easier to gain than others, even when you make the ideal Sim for that Ideal.

Ondarion seems like a very attractive but a shell of a world, each neighborhood really just seems lacking in activity and depth:

• So we can have swordsmanship duels, I tried with a lvl 10 and they only won 2 out of 3... and really it wasn't very exiting.
• Pull out the Simscalabre but there wasn't really quest build up, you just do it with high enough commoner favour and swordsmanship.
• Blacksmith not bad of a rabbit hole shop. Materials can be used or just bought. But without swordsman's skill it starts off pretty pointless.
• Pirate treasure in several locations, is somewhat interesting but it be nice if there was a combo of a questline and spawning chests.
• The Mirror was lackluster, when I tried to get dirt on another Sim it didn't even say there wasn't any just nothing happened and I couldn't ask again.
• The Well "invisible" missions I only started one, then forgot about it, then is said it completed. It isn't like Favours/Fables or anything...?

I just see this being more of a beta world and that the features will be added and fleshed out later. I was playing in Ravenwood and Innisgreen (both keep me busy enough I have almost too much to do) then tried to incorporate Ondarion, I had nothing to do there besides waiting for treasure chests to spawn.

Do not get me wrong it is a beautiful world but there isn't much to do there.

Honestly, I thought my Devious Ideals dynasty with Mischief and Disruptive Sim would get more scandals.

Sims using Disruptive trait socials in public:

• Give Bad Balance Advice
• Distort an Obvious Truth
• Throw Off [Sim]'s Balance

As these could cause an Aliment which should be scandalous!

No scandal for :

• Ghost secret resurrection
• Disguised Alien's true identity revealed by removing the disguise
• Alien using Erase Mind
• Spellcaster using Mischief magic (Furio and Strangify) and Untamed magic (Inferniate, Zipzap, Minionize) 
• Mermaid using Siren's Lullabies
• Romance with Servo
• Imaginary Friend becoming Real : I mean this sim come from nowhere, it should be suspicious.

Using Mind Control powers(including Satellite Dish and SimRay) and intentionally start a fire should be scandalous.

So lifestyles do not effect Ideals sadly X /

Excessive dueling when a Sim has no sword in inventory and also dislikes Swordsmanship X / My homemaker (without sword and dislikes Swordsmanship) keeps dueling with the Brave Ideal Swordsman (with sword)—instead of the other Swordsman (with sword) in the household.

I only want my Sims with swords in inventory dueling especially when they are the active household. NPCs can do whatever. 

I tried to make a rival dynasty multiple times the relationships are despised/enemy and disliked, the same prestige and it just keeps failing, saying your dynasty is too lowly, or giving another chance before you make a mistake. There are no scandals to the "good" dynasty, and the "bad" dynasty with bad reputation Sim is the one trying to make the rivalry.

This just seem harder than it should be.

This is the only crown that fits your sim without the hair clipping. I don't know why they could not make all crowns this big.
