Sims 4 Seasons new deaths and possible ghost abilities

I’m playing a household that has a normal sim, an alien, a vampire and a normal sim who would become a playable ghost from one of the new deaths in seasons. She died of overheating. I noticed my alien got the lethal heat moodlet while he was around her. They were both inside, at that point I had not yet bought a thermostat, so at that point I did. I switched him into his summer clothes and it didn’t remove the moodlet. He autonomously went for a glass of water, like they always do , took a sip and that removed the moodlet. I haven’t been able to find anything about the new ghosts abilities, quirks or whatever. From what happened in my game It seems the weather related ghosts have the ability to affect the temperature and sims around them to the point of being deadly.Has anyone else experienced anything like this in their games? Is this part of the game design or is it a bug?
