My sim has only been sick like once for a day and 1 glass of orange juice fixed it. The sickesses need to be re-worked they seem lazy.
It's like, "your sim has stripes but otherwise shes fine". How boring.
Haha, true. The stripes thing looks more serious than it is.

I totally agree with @Hawkgirl.
They really do need to fine-tune the illness system. They're too easily curable and don't spread that easily. Plus, they don't really affect Sims' moods that much. They could exercise, dig for rocks, and do all that other stuff that a healthy Sim can do. When I'm sick, I feel really uncomfortable and don't even want to get out of bed!
I mean, stripes and spots are fine in the Sims, but the illnesses also should carry the chance of death if not treated like TS2 did. It would be too silly and pointless if there was no illness-related death. At least increase the rate of motive decay! That should add some challenge. :p
I like the spreading thing but I remembered in The Sims 2, when they had a bug infestation, everyone who got out of the house will fall sick and it spread too much which was kinda annoying to me. Haha. But yeah, I agree that it should affect the needs of the sims. :) Maybe they'll fix this when Seasons comes out or something.
