While I agree that death threats and personal insults are unacceptable, I think that's a problem on most of Twitter, not just the Sims.
People on Twitter or any social platform, are entitled to be negative and critical. However, when they start personally insulting people, then it's no longer constructive- it's toxic.
Don't forget that people ARE allowed to complain and voice their opinions. It just depends on how they convey their negative feelings.
The Developers and Gurus on Twitter are ADULTS, and they should be able to tell the difference between constructive criticism and insults. This behavior happens with any public figures on social media, and they should be able to tell the difference.
