I've made a lot of friends on Twitter but then I follow pets on there, particularly dogs! It's not a bad platform for gaining information on any subject under the sun but you sometimes have difficulty, at first, finding who shares your views and is not a conspiracy fanatic etc.,
Don't let the Sims 4 toxic twitterfeed put you off Twitter. It has been a great way for me to keep in touch during a long lockdown and some of the Tweeters are brilliant and very funny and if you want to know how great letter writing was in the old days I recommend Letters of Note (particularly the one of ex-Presidents letters to their next President! It's very "current") :)
