Sims 4 Two discs?

I also have a second disc and I didn't have to install it. The first disc was impossible to run without origin. I'm very confused. I have no lag except for demon babies

When I insert my disk, it does nothing. Can anyone tell me why?

Maybe it's scratched or dirty. Try cleaning it.

Do other discs work in your drive? BTW, you could have just started a new thread rather than necro one for this.

Mine prompted for the 2nd disc at the very end. I have the premium edition. It downloaded music I think. It was short and sweet. My Origin account also says I have the premium edition. I am in the US.

Hmm, mine had 2 discs but it never prompted me to put in the second.

I've been playing for a few weeks now and my game crashes a lot.

Do you think I should put the second disc in and try again? Will it wipe my entire game? Should I back up? How?

So when my download reaches 92%, origin will tell me to insert my second disc since mine is downloading from origin? are there other places to download it from, like a download window popping up from inserting the disc in the first place? im a little confused but i also feel like this answer is staring me in the face lol.. im just wondering if theyre all the same or some are different.

if you are confident the game isnt fully installed on one disc, i only say this since they are always changing packaging sold so not sure if everyone after the initial launch will still get two discs, either return the game to the store you bought or contact customer service see HELP below or install the digital version under my games/origin

A lot of people only thought they were installing from the disk but in reality they wound up downloading straight from origin. Perhaps you were one of those?
