I have the same, more or less. If my sims don't have anything to do, and there is something that needs cleaning, they will go out of their way to clean it. Guests too. Its like having free maids. I never have to worry about over filling the trash bin, puddles, you name it. They will grab empty dishes almost before they're empty.
