Sims gaining skills WAY too fast

I cant tell about skill gain speeds right now as I'm in the home stretch of the "no skills, no problem" scenario, only 22k simoleons to go ?. When I finish I'll be able to gain skills again so we'll see what happens. Btw, anyone thinking of doing the no skills challenge the detective, doctor & scientist careers don't require any skills at all.

Finished the "no skills" scenario & switched to another sim. Anyway, she had no skills, but I used MCCC to cheat some up because I feel sims should have learned basic skills while younger. I took her bowling (she had no skill) & playing one 10-frame game her skill went up to almost level three. Can't remember if it's always gone up that fast as it's been awhile since I've had someone bowling so not sure if it's a bug.

Sounds fast. Glad it's not just me.

It's been happening since the infant patch. Going to manage worlds and back can help correct it, if you catch it before they max the bloody skill.
