Sims goes to my loading screen then cuts off, help!
Basically, after this new update my mods are working again and when I click on sims it goes through the opening animation and to the loading screen then completely goes back to my home screen. It goes back to the EA app and gives me an error saying, "An error on our end has caused the game not to run, try again later." (paraphrasing) there was a broken mod but my game would run anyway, and I've tried to remove every mod and run it, and it still does the same thing. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall and same problem. Even tried doing the same to the Ea app and when I reinstalled same message. I'm on pc if that matters, any help is very appreciated!
pinkhellokitty44 Please try this:
- Drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop and rename it.
- Run a Game Repair in the EA App. (If you use Steam, the equivalent is Verify Integrity.)
- Launch Sims 4. You should get no list of mods on launch, and you should have no option to load a previous save.
Does this work now?
If so, you can try copying your mods out of the old folder into the new one. If you get a failure screen again, start at Broken and Updated Mods and CC
