Sims icons shrank

Any pic to show?

I can't seem to figure out how to upload pictures, so no, sorry. Also, I don't know how to get the game to let me take a picture of the interface.

Yes it's normal, it happens at a a certain amount of people in the household. To take up less room.

Yeah that happened to me. It makes sending them home and choosing what they do at work/school a little more fiddly but it saves space so I'm cool with it

I have many households, many of them are more than 5 sims but all the icons are normal. I never experienced icon shrinking.
I don't know why it is happening in your game. And it seems you are not alone. There are others too.

Could it be due to the screen resolution you are using? At what resolution are you playing?

If you read the last answer, as I suspected it depends on the screen resolution you are playing.
I am playing on resolution 1920x1080 and I have not experienced this. Try to increase your resolution so that the screen will fit more info without distorting them.

Thank you for the link. I've played other families with the same amount of sims, and the icons have stayed the same. I haven't changed anything about my game since then, so I don't know why it's suddenly changed.

My current screen resolution is 1366x768, which is the recommended setting and the highest I can make it go.

It is because of your resolution. If you go higher then the screen is able accommodate more UI with the normal size. Basically at your resolution everything will be bigger. Sim avatar icons will be bigger and there will be no more space to accommodate additional icons so the game has to scale them to be visible hence you see them shrink.

See here. This is a lot with 7 sims I have, all are same size under resolution 1920x1080

When i have 7 sims it shrinks, though with 6 it's normal

I play the game at 5160x2160 so they don't shrink until there are like 30 Sims :p
