For my game, I usually use that automatic trashbin (I don’t remember the name of it), so I can just drag empty plates or cups to clean around places. I find sims wiping out food and then putting the dishes away pretty time-consuming.
@EpicSims if you let them scrape the food it's 10 simoleans then I cancel the interaction and drag the dishes to the can. I don't do it every time but if I catch the while scraping I will.
