@ChampandGirlie you've set an interesting story and i'm in love with your first household, if it was me i'd turn them all into witches and would totally make them scare their neighbors haha
if you play on pc and you suddenly want to include magic gameplay but you're afraid of the whole place turning into spellcasters you could use mods to prevent this. i haven't tried any so i can't recommend you one, but i'm sure there are a few out there that will do wonders for this
