I was actually happy to see this sale on Origin because I hadn't bought anything new for quite a while. And I promised myself I wouldn't buy any new packs until the prices dropped. EA managed to fix a few more bugs, and the modding community has had time enough to update their mods, plus they created new ones for the things I didn't want to see in the game, or have no interest in. Island Living cured me of buying any new pack until the reviews and bug reprts start rolling in, and I have the opportunity to see the pack in action during live play streams. I don't see myself breaking this pattern because the teams have overlooked many glitches/bugs during quality checks while new content is being developed, and I don't see the point of being a tester for a pack I paid money for. I wanted RoM for the new world. DU has bicycles and new storage options. Tiny Living has a nice set of new challenges I am interested in playing. Each pack has a bit of something I want but not enough to make it worth the release price. And since stuff packs don't go on sale that often I don't feel badly about paying full price for Tiny Living because the new gameplay options will give me a lot of new storylines to play out.
