If so, you can try and remove the illness buffs.
Click Sim
Select MCCC - MC Cheats | Cheat sim Info | Mood/Buff Control | Remove Buff
Leave the search box empty and click OK. You will now be able to browse all the moods/buffs on that sim. Look for any related to illness and click it to remove it. - GalacticGal3 years agoLegendI uninstalled Private Practice twice in the past several months. I grew so very tired of everyone being sick all of the time and the cost of sick care. I swear the game doesn't approve of Sims with money. I don't begrudge anyone their money, earned or inherited. But you do have to delete the localthumbcache.package.

It's in the main Sims 4 folder right above your mods folder if you're not familiar with that file.- If you want you can try my method to restore the game, but please backup a copy of your Sims folder first, just in case.
In Sims 4 folder:
cache folder: Delete the whole folder.
cachestr folder: Delete the whole folder.
Mods folder: remove mods and CC and delete the Sims file called "resource.cfg". You should only have one of these in the folder at any time, or, delete the whole mods folder and resource file with it, if you don't have any mods / CC in it.
onlinethumbnailcache folder: delete the whole folder.
Save folder: delete anything you don't want anymore. These are your game saves, it's easier to delete from the game manager.
Below the folders are some files to delete:
avatarcache.package
localthumbcache.package
any last exception crash log file
In Origin:
Click on the the cog wheel and select repair, it will scan through your games and look for something to repair.
Open game back up again. You should now be back in a restored game with the following regenerated fresh and brand new: cache folder, cachestr folder, mods folder & resource.cfg file, onlinethumbnailcache folder, avatarcache.package file and localthumbcache.package file
