I have seen that more often in restaurants lately. Perhaps there is a bug report at AHQ we could click Me Too on?
I just had a dinner party, of eight sims, mostly, sitting down to eat; only that one or two sims got up from their seat, standing by the table eating and talking, then sitting down again, and another getting up.
I got rid of some of my mods and it helped a wee bit. But not much. I'm definitely going to report this but I doubt they can fix it. The sims love to move around too much. It's nice but when sims are eating they need to SIT DOWN until they're done. It drives me nuts. :s
That's the thing... most sims will sit down but once one sim gets up it's like a chain reaction like your dinner party situation. I notice the sims kind of feed off of each other. It's like they don't know if they want to sit up or sit down.
