I've always said that you should never set out to do just Sims videos because I mean....how many Sims videos can you possibly make? Sure you can squeeze out a few when a new pack comes out but.....Yeah, Sims content is....Yeah......yeah.....I mean when you think about it, Kevin's Sims videos aren't really about "Sims" it's more about Jim and his wacky adventures which revolves around killing just about everyone that has ever existed. If you watched Kevin's Sims videos in the last few months you'd see that he was getting bored of The Sims 4, he played as a spellcaster for a whole episode or two, spent maybe 2 episodes in college before giving up on it. One of the few times you could tell he was REALLY having fun was when he shoved like 30 people into a Tiny House and watched them all die, and then later when he decided to add his new Mario Kart character; Turg into the game. In between those two videos was just Kevin just kind of going through the notions, "Ah it's the Coronavirus outbreak, I will lock all my neighbors in their homes!" for two episodes right there, he found someone built one of those Vaults from Fallout and put it in his game because he thought it would be fun.....Again that was like one episode.
Ironically, Nifty Knitting is probably the first time in about a year since he's had this much fun with just because he could go back to his roots and just enslave people and use them to knit stuff while he sells it for profit. Yeah it sucks seeing your favorite YouTubers lose interest in your favorite game but like....some of these people have been filming themselves playing Sims 4 since 2014....6 years of content out of one game is pretty good in the long run, but even the most dedicated of fans are going to say "Enough" and lose interest in it.
