Sims YouTubers
Is it just me or have the majority of Sims YouTubers become increasingly bland at the moment? None of them even seem to play the game anymore, majority of them seem to just be pushing out content now for their viewing figures, or they're really inactive. Nifty Knitting came out a month back and I haven't even seen any of the big sims YouTubers playing with it or making a lets play around it.
For example, Vixella and Lilsimsie used to post a variety of content but now both have posted basically nothing but build videos for the past month. Don't get me wrong build videos are enteratining sometimes but when you build the exact same 10,000 simoleon suburban style starter home every single day for a month what's the point? It's not even a challenge at that stage, it just seems like doing the minimum to keep their viewing figures up.
Steph0sims has posted one singular video since lockdown started 5 months ago, James Turner rarely posts anymore. Plumbella who I used to love, her entire channel is just twitch stream highlights and promo for her twitch channel now. Kevin is great but he only posts about the sims once a month, same with graystillplays.
It just seems like as an overall theme Sims YouTubers are getting boring and don't even care about the game anymore. I miss the days when Sims YouTubers would post lets plays and stuff like that with the game but now there's very few people that actually do that anymore. I suppose it says a lot when the people who get paid to play the game can't even come up with things to do in it
