I often wonder if this turmoil has all been brought on by The Sims, Maxis, the Gurus, etc because of this focus on inclusivity. Gone are the days when they just produce a game and either you buy it and like it or you don't.
I don't play other games, so I'm not "in" with how other developers are treated and if the fans of other games are this nasty, horrible, and demanding, or if it's just a "Sims" mentality because the Gurus are at the front of social media.
Was it like this with the other iterations in the Sims franchise? Or has this only come about since they've been on the frontline of Twitter?
I seriously pop onto to Twitter a few times a day, just to see if there's been any new tweets that might be hints or any updated news, and that's it. I don't have any desire to follow any simmer, not on facebook, not on twitter, not on youtube, not on tumblr. I'm actually an adult and I make up my own mind on how I feel about things and don't need to be a sheep.
