I think having a positive experience of twitter is very much dependent on filtering out stuff that is simply toxic or boring (and also not being worried about how many followers you have!).
The #simsrevolution hashtag has been a trip into nostalgia for me, and at other times hilarious. Overall I would say that it has been positive, with the caveat that there are always some who seek to exploit any situation to spew bile.
I hope the powers that be at EA do pay attention. There are times when it seems developers lose track of what is actually important to people, when they get caught up in the tricky process of making something new, shiny and actually possible to do (and sell at a profit to an audience who maybe don't have the pc beasts that can run complex games)
My great fear is that sims 5 ends up as a smartphone app. Up the revolution!
