Indeed! OMG I am glad I have not seen the rinks in those places yet, I would totally freak.
Why would they put them like that? That is dreadful.
And what I'd like to know is what the point of the different rinks are, cos I placed an ice rink down and when my sims visited it in the Summer it had turned into a roller rink. I wanted it to be ice skating. If they are going to auto change, then there is no point in having two different objects to place.
