Skill Cheats for Mac

I am using the skill cheats located on this page:

Can someone please help me? I can't get the Skill Cheats to work and I have tried everything!

Try using the skill cheats in this link. When putting the number, don’t put the brackets around the number

Also type in
testingcheats true
then press enter
before doing the skill cheats.

That is what I have been doing and it is not working.

Try coming completely out of the game.
Delete the cache files
https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
Then go back into the game and test to see if the issue remains.
Try also testing with a different household and see if the same issue is with those Sims also.

testingcheats true wasn't working. I tried testingcheats on and then entered the skill cheat and that worked. Thanks again!
