Skin Tones NEED an update. Genetics NEED fixing

So I was playing with this family and when I aged up their first baby... which was not adopted FYI... and the baby did NOT look like the parents. At all. The most glaring thing was the child's skin to...

I feel like there is barely any consistency. I would love for my gen 3, born of 2 brown eyed parents, to have blue eyes because her grandma had them. Just involve dominant genes, inheriting them and make the babies not look COMPLETELY different??
