Smarten up TS4
The Sims 4 has boasted about having smarter sims with wacky stories. So far, the stories are lack luster because of limited game play options and the sims are as smart as rocks. Here's just 1 exampl...

There is no diversity it what activities a Sim chooses because they used a simplistic one size fits all system for attracting Sims to certain objects. Maxis didn't apply a trigger alerting Sims that another Sim was performing an activity. This simple system would have dramatically improved the AI. It drives me up the wall that every single sim makes a beeline to the same 3 or 4 activities on the lot. I'm in mid-Gen 2 of a Legacy and even at this stage I have a massive number of possible activities on the lot, but every Sim wants to just play on the computer all the time. My current heir, a child Sim, no matter what else I tell her to do, always tries to change her mind and play with her doll house. She does this in contradiction to my direct orders. I was trying to get her typing skill up and she would do it for like 2 seconds and then get up to go to her doll house. The only way I could fix this was to fill her entire queue up with "typing" orders, so that she could not add the dollhouse one on top of it. Although that worked, it should not be necessary.
