Escapes From Highchair?

Something odd just now happened in my game. One of the twins was in the highchair and his father gave him a bowl of chips to eat. Well, his mother is busy making dinner, so I scooted the bowl of chips off of the highchair tray. Suddenly, the twin was standing in front of the highchair, facing it. Now, how on earth did he do that?

Has anyone else ever had a toddler escape from a highchair before?

  • If the toddler resets while in the high chair, they end up standing next to it.

If you move an object a sim is interacting with, that sim resets.

Therefore, by stealing the poor boy's chips, you gave him the superpower to escape his highchair (probably plotting to get his chips back). 😄

  • It would have given you a surprise when that happened! I am not sure how that happened. I haven’t had that happen to a toddler.

ROFL. Chips basically is a garbage food, though. I was doing him a favor. His father ought to know better, too, than to spoil his appetite when his mother was already cooking dinner! I removed the offensive bowl of chips --- and don't get me wrong, I do eat chips, which is partly what helped me gain 4o extra pounds I don't need!

Me, either, and I didn't realize that by removing the bowl, that he hadn't had a chance to interact with so far as I had seen, anyway, would prompt a reset. But that does makes sense.
