I'm excited for the day when my sim, in a passionate embrace with her lover, no longer gets the sudden urge to buy a bee box. Or a dishwasher. That's when it really sinks in, "oh god I'm married", dishwasher dreams while smooching your partner.

(On a related note, while all other sims in Sims 2 have the want chain "Talk-Flirt-Kiss-Makeout-Woohho" during dates, Fortune sims reliably progress "Talk-Flirt-Kiss-Makeout-Buy painting worth 4,500 simoleons" instead :D )
About the Wants and Fears, they're not for me, I already know what my sims are afraid of, but the game can only guess and it will guess wrong, leading to frustration. I'd love to know whether we can still turn Wants/Fears off the way we can now turn Whims off. That would be for the best, no need to nerf the system for those that enjoy it, just let me hide it from my own game.
