If you have MC command you can remove the relationship then just fix it back to how you had it.

"So it doesn't come back" ... no, that would require mods. It's a game glitch and can happen when sims get into flirty conversations with more than one Sim at a time. The mother or daughter probably injected herself into a conversation that the other one was having with someone else.

To remove it, you can use the modify relationship cheat code, or a mod (MCCC can do this). To prevent it from ever happening again, you can use a mod for it. It's pretty rare though, so imo not worth adding a mod to prevent.
I'm pretty sure there's a setting in MCCC that prevents it (though I could be mistaken)

@Stormkeep this is the only time I've seen it happen within a family. I've seen it happen to in laws but never within "blood lines" so I didn't even think it was possible as in I believed there would be a buffer for it sort of like can't "flirt with a teen" there should be can't "flirt with mom"

If you're not familiar with the cheat code, you would need to hit control-shift-c and then type:

modifyrelationship {PlayedSimFirstName} {PlayedSimLastName} {TargetSimFirstName} {TargetSimLastName} -100 LTR_Romance_Main

Put the actual names where specified (and don't include the brackets). If either of them has a double name for first or last name, put first name and last name in separate quotation marks.
You may need testingcheats on to do it as well...I am not sure about that. Been a long time since I typed these out instead of just using MCCC to do it.

Yah, afaik there is no way to actually 'remove' the presence of the bar without using mods short of removing them from your game and then re-placing them from your gallery. Nor is there a way from preventing it from returning without mods.

I'll have to wreck the family and place one back in from gallery. I have a zero in*est policy. If it was just a bartender or whatever fine but so not even remotely okay in this situation.

The easiest to wreck is the mom/ grandma I guess. She just got married too. Ack.

Have them fight with each other. It will make them lose relationship points. Or move the daughter out for a time and have no contact with the mom - any relationship will just sort of fade out over time. When enough time goes by then move them back in together.

On a game level - you may not have Free Love set up but there might be another neighborhood they visit that does have that NAP and that could be where they picked it up. I played one household that lived in Oasis Springs and the daughter was in a relationship with someone that lived in Windenburg. She went to visit her boyfriend and his dad hit on her. It was odd because he wasn't the flirtatious type then his mom came along and did the same thing. So I investigated it and found that their neighborhood had that as one of their NAPs. It was the one and only time I used a cheat to fix it.

It was annoying but what really made me despise the Neighborhood Action Plans was when buildings in StrangerVille were being wiped out and had to be redecorated due to the people taking stuff because of the "Sharing is Caring" NAP.

Have you checked to make sure they're still Mother and Daughter? Sometimes relationship links get broken for one reason or another. The MCCC mod really is the easiest way to fix a messed up relationship link. You can always remove it once you've fixed this problem.
Unless you play on a console, then you'll have to cheat it away with the cheat codes.

@Catzilla yeah they're still mother and daughter. I might have to do mcc just to get rid of this. It's my first "simself" family and ummmm...yuck.
