Hey guys, So in the past whenever we got Seasons or vacations we also got the winter activities to go with that. Now the pack has been split up (which honestly I don't know what I think of this...) But that's not the point. I wanted to ask what do you think how this EP is going to work without Seasons. Is there going to be snow in a non seasons pack? Is it going to be always snowy? What are your guesses? And what would you ideally like to see?

I assume always snowy but we won’t know until more info is released. All we know for now is seasons is not required to play.

It's not uncommon for taller mountains, after all, and this is a mountain based world. Just like Sulani is always sunny.what's less clear is if we'll have cold effects. Part of the map is going to be perpetually snowy. Whether or not you have snow or blizzards falling from the sky is probably dependent on having Seasons

The only time we got snow and winter activities in a vacation pack was TS1 Vacation/On Holiday, and in all likelihood will function the same in this EP, ie, a permasnow world without snowfall effects, a white terrain like Vacation Island.

Seasons will add snowfall effect (and snow in the town), the Seasons snow activities, and death by freezing.

Windenburg has snow in the Chalet Gardens, yet we did not have season until two years after that. So it would be a terrain with special effects for new activities.

Static snow. With or without seasons

Maybe theywill add blizzard in the area if people has seasons installed .

I guess there will be at least one area of the map (probly in the mountains) that is always snowy and will have new lots for the new winter activities, I mean you can't just go snowboarding or skiing anywhere irl either there have to be mountains (same goes for mountain climbing obviously), so I get that they were not added in seasons as regular winter activities.

Maybe there'll be a town area too which won't always be snowy.

@IceyJ Lol I know but tanning and sunburns belong to Seasons. They are effects that come from the weather. It's like university without term papers.
