Even it it's that - Fashion designer is already in the game, painting is already a skill and babysitting isn't worth 20 of any currancy.

Yup, just what I was thinking. This will just be some more YA/A exclusive content (perhaps coming with 1new decorative kids item). And there won't be much variety to it either if it's just this one career.

And base game update will probably be some feature like "paint ceilings" or "spiral stairs" which are nice, but they don't expand actual gameplay.

TS4 has become a create a sim and build simulator, the life simulation is lacking tons.

Yeah Tenants is too new for that. They could be inspired by House Flipper though. That game is old enough.

It surely is, the biggest GCs were hyping this game (lilsimsie for example...)

And this is why this pack will probably suck. Buy/Build simulation. No life simulation. AGAIN.

We probably should face it: us longtime fans, us life simulation gameplay simmers who started their sims career with TS2/TS3 or even earlier just aren't the target audience of this game anymore.

Yeah, you’re probably right. The Tenants game is too new. It’s just I remember hearing some YouTuber say something along the lines of The Tenants being how The Sims was supposed to be (I also remember feeling strongly opposed to that statement) which is probably why I recall it more.

I really like this as a career as I don't really have the patience to build or refurbish a house in one sitting. A room or two though? Fun. Getting paid for it? Even better.

They like literally give us everything besides what we want. It's like they are sitting around a table and then one Guru goes: "They want Cars!" and then the main Guru says: "That's a good idea! Let's put it on the Ideas board and go back working on the Sims 4 Journey to Your Wallet!"

I agree with that, The Tenants and House Flipper are games that are fun to play, but they are not The Sims. I have played both a lot and they are fun to play but are also lacking a lot in some areas.

House flipper is very detailed for example, but since it is in first person it takes forever to renovate a house. The tenants is focused on renting apartments and completing jobs so you rarely get the chance to design an apartment like you want and the game rewarding you for it.
