Now what about the other packs with "seasons-y" features? Water slides, hot tubs, ice cream, Spooky Stuff, Vampires? Do you think they'll take the time to go back and make sure the packs are implemented into the Seasons EP properly?
hottubs came w/ Patio Pack. And you can get Ice cream with Kitchen Stuff. - I’m still a little curious about laundry. My sims live off the land and use very little electricity, so they do laundry outside. I know rain will cause the clothes to get wet. But what about winter? Will the clothes freeze and never dry right? I was considering moving the clothesline into some type of shed or garage in the winter, but I’m just curious if you tried to hang clothes up in the cold what would happen.
It would be nice if they added some kind of drying rack that you could place indoors by the fireplace. This could also be used to dry sims wet coats and boots. - Most of those things don't really need any specific integration into seasons (in my opinion). But it would be cool if like, eating ice cream will cool the sims down in the summer or something like that.

I mean, as you mentioned with the ice cream things like waterslides and even the lemonade tray are very specific to Summer. It'd be silly if they did absolutely nothing for our sims with the new weather. And vampires losing the same energy all the time even if it's bright and sunny or so cloudy you can't even see the sun?

That's a good point :)- Rudiarose8 years agoNew AceVampire already have problems with the sun always shining now they are going to all die as soon as summer hits. They may even die in their own homes because they get too hot. RIP Vamps. They going to have to let vamps buy suntan lotion on the computer and then we will have to remember to put it on everytime our sims go outside.
- GamingTweety8 years agoSeasoned AceAnd also vampires should be immune to cold.
- XxAirixX8 years agoSeasoned AceWithout that day walker mod, Vampires have a hard time doing anything during the day. So many Vampires died without that mod or you playing them. Umbrellas and all that should help them out. LOL maybe the first thing I will do is give every Vampire an umbrella.
As for ice cream and hot tubs, we have those with the patio and cool kitchen stuff packs which is nice for summer. Not sure about any slides (think the toddler pack as a slide; but I don't have that stuff pack). I think the backyard pack as a sort of slip in slide; but I also don't have it. :C We need a pool slide or something.
Now the Spooky Stuff pack and the free Holiday pack that they gave us is really going to be great! Plus we have some Easter and Dia de los Muertos items we can unlock with debug and maybe somethings will be unlocked permanently or added in with Seasons. "XxAirixX;c-16507757" wrote:

I'm almost certain that mod is obsolete now. Maybe it's an MCCC setting or something, but I personally haven't seen any NPC vampires die in ages since that patch came out a while ago. I just think it'd be nice for played vamps to have harsher or weaker penalties towards sun depending on the weather.
And yeah, I know those things are already in the game (water slides are in Backyard stuff, btw). I'm just curious to know if they went back and modified them to work with the weather since that's a huge part of using them IRL.- XxAirixX8 years agoSeasoned Ace

The mod seems to be working; but I never tried playing without it as last time did that, basically all the npc vampires died as they won't stay out of the sun. Not sure about MCCC settings for vampires, I would have to look into that.
I hope with seasons, some settings will make it easier for Vampire. Also all those items should work along with seasons to help sims keep cool. Can't really say for sure until I get to play it or some things are confirmed.
