Yep! I would play Sims 4 if they had preteens! People say preteens aren't needed, they're redundant, they cost to much funds, they're no different from children and teens, Sims 4 devs need to work on something else, etc. I strongly disagree with all of this. Nobody ever mentions the positive side about preteens (some do). Preteens can be a substitute for shorter teens and fix the weird gap between children and teens. That's why people want preteens. The devs know we want them!

I'm hoping for a 2017 repeat year and hope the next GP is a vacation pack

It's possible we'll get another game pack. I was kind hoping it centered on family (Generations) since they released Parenthood and Pets.

I don’t think so. They already have parenthood and Cats and Dogs. And some simmers are angry because “too much family play!”
They might release another supernatural GP but it could anyone’s guess.

There is still a lot of family stuff missing but I suppose it could be added to Seasons.

Play Catch Together

Lots of playground equipment like swings,seesaws and other things.

Interactions like Gift Giving,Pillow Fighting and other stuff missing.

Photobooths and Greeting Card Pictures.

I want all this stuff back

Why do you insist on lumping stuff into a pack that doesn't belong? That would mean getting rid of stuff for the pack to have room for your stuff that doesn't belong.

Seasons is really a family pack when you think of it. It usually comes with activities like making snowmen/snow angels together,build snowmen together and other stuff like snowball fights,water fights,skating etc so that stuff would fit with Seasons if they don't do a Generations Pack. A Seasons Expansion would have room enough for that stuff plus the regular seasons activities and interactions.

Why do people think that Parenthood generalize everything about family and generation? No the Parenthood Pack was just that Parenting. A Generation means everyone included in family not just certain stages.

But seriously - after the devs get back from their Holiday vacations when ever that is.

My guess though is probably the second week of January.

They will probably announce a tropical GP, it’s long overdue already. Plus if they are actually hinting stuff , it all points to a tropical GP

I think it is the 4th for some and later for others. Then again that is related to the console side of things. They are on vacation now from talking to some of them. Probably nice of them to take a break thinking about Sims things even though Graham streamed the console version the other night which was fun and silly.

I know - I checked it out for a bit.

Definitely in the first half of January.

I do think we'll get a GP in February or March. I'm guessing it will either be a vacation pack or a supernatural pack... I'm hoping for supernatural! (Witches!)

There’s nothing official about the next game pack being tropical vacation. It’s nothing more than some people’s wishful thinking.

No way, it's almost official now the next packs will be SP13 Laundry Day Stuff and GP06 Tropical/Summer vacation

How is a tropical vacation pack considered ALMOST official when all there are is a few hints people want to believe are real?

Same as GP04 Vampires, we get some data files in the patches.

That means 3 things :
- soon = the next quarter
- game pack
- theme = tropical


But I'm not enthusiast to get another tiny world like Granite Falls and Forgotten Hollow and compared to Sunlit Tides, the best tropical world of The Sims history.

there's no data files anywhere that would point towards a tropical pack
