For some reason, while trying to place stone flooring on the ground (which is just the grass) it says there's nothing to change. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Make sure you just have the single tile option chosen instead of the 'whole room' option. Maybe? If it's around a pool sometimes it glitches out and you can't place any sort of flooring there. Have to use paint instead.

Try placing a room and fill the floor in, then destroy the walls.

This is maybe too late - but I think when that happened to me I made a basement under the whole lot and then deleted and it made it editable. Is that even a word. :)

The stupid issue was the basement the entire time.

Dunno what the deal is. It's ticking me off, though. The OCD in me isn't happy that I can't make each side identical or at least close to identical.

I had that problem on the biggest lot in Willow Creek; it's a bug, to my knowledge it isn't fixed yet. I normally build on another lot and then move my house there. Ugh. Not a permanent fix and it's all over the lot... Going to do what @I_M1LOS_I suggested.

I think some of the YouTube Simmers mentioned some of the lots weren't level. And we don't have terrain tools...so, yeah. The only thing they could do was use the terrain paint as a member mentioned previously.

NOPE! Still a bug. The process of repairing, etc. didn't work. Phooey. I'll just roll with it.

Hang on... If I placed the house onto the lot, would that cause it to be unable to edit? Doesn't make sense.
