I don't want mods in my game, I don't want to be dependent on other players doing team maxis' job. I do however want what op is suggesting. There shouldn't be a problem to make a pack with a different rating. Everyone for whom that rating means that pack isn't for them simply shouldn't get that pack and their entire game stays unchanged rating wise, but at the same time such a pack would make the game more interesting for players not limited to product ratings according to their age. Also, the sims have anatomically incorrect barbie and ken doll bodies, toys little children play with, undress all the time, making that blur ridicules for players over the age of 10. At the very least it should be an in-game toggleable option for the nudephobians among you.
