I'm probably the oldest one on this thread. While I appreciate the need for some maturity added to this game, I have to agree, let's keep it to Teen Vs General. It's been seriously dumbed down. I want scary ghosts (not Casper the Playable Ghost); I want more randomizing deaths, such as the first lightning strike may or may not kill your Sims, so that my Sims have a legitimate reason to be frightened by thunder storms. We're given too much of a chance to save our Sims. Most of us don't allow our dazed Sim to continue fixing that dishwasher, dryer, stove, radio, etc. once they've been zapped, so that when they get zapped again it's curtains. We have a window of time given us to bring our freezing to death Sims back indoors, too. Give us back burglars, too, if you please. This is or was a life simulation game. Bad stuff happens. (Besides, if the worst happens, why do you think we have a library that stores our current Sim?) I just start all over again, or roll back the game save. I did this in Sims2. Start over, that is. I totally loved it when my Sim (Spock of Vulcan) cried like a baby (so unlike him, too) when a burglar stole his car back in Sims2. He was inconsolable. It was a hoot. While I felt bad for him I couldn't stop laughing at the same time. Now, that's entertainment. Quirkiness and odd humor is a trade mark of the Sims Franchise. Sometimes, that humor gets a tad crude for me, but then again my parents (my Dad, in particular) said he was raising Ladies. Yeah, try living with that hung about your neck. LOL
