You have my sympathy! My first celebrity after GF came out, won an award. Of course I proudly placed it on the fireplace mantle. He had a friend visiting, and I saw her walk up to the fireplace and snatched the award. It was gone. Even had her move in, but it wasn't in her inventory. She was homeless, so nothing in household inventory either. Of course I noticed after the move-in that she was a klepto. I do believe she was a paparazzi, and they're all kleptos.
They also make for some very lousy Starlight Accolade Hosts, too. Had to exit without saving because the Host was spending far more time taking snapshots of Erik, instead of handing out awards! Oh, he would stand at the mic and chat gibberish — I mean, Simlish, at the audience, but no awards were even being handed out. I know because there never was even one drop-down saying who got the award for what. Not even the one where it goes on to say, the Sim gave a very moving speech. Waste of my time yesterday, too late in my day to replay it. So, today is a new day and we shall see.
