Something is making my sims die of hysterics!

I like the possibility of random deaths and I hadn't suffered one single emotional death, but then I had two in the same evening! My Global Superstar was throwing his very first Charity Event at a bar and of course invited those he knew were likely to donate. This included his only sister and her husband. First her husband, a non-emotional type, (Vulcan), found Erik's silly joke all-too-funny and Spock died on the spot. :open_mouth: His wife for some odd reason was slow on the take and didn't notice her husband had deceased, but then she grew hysterical, too and over she went. :open_mouth:

I tried to carry on the save, but Erik was ill-equipped to care for this identical twin nephews and his then girlfriend was of no help. I only threw in the towel when the twins' needs were so bad, I thought for certain the Social Worker would be at their doorstep poste haste. Then the game seemed to target Erik, killing him at least twice. That's when I used MCCC to disable emotional deaths. And that's my story.
