The description doesn't specifically state this is a vacation pack or and actual world where you can live and build a home.
would you be able to get a job in a "vacation world"? Since it says we can be a fisherman, we can keep the beach clean as a job, become a lifeguard or a diver. - Just a livable world, but also hoping that we will be able to vacation there too. Sorta like OR and JA. Or modders will make it possible to vacation there.
- It is a vacation GP masquerading as an EP. Once you have swam with a dolphin, snorkled a bit, cleaned up a beach and flailed around the water as a mermaid you'll be done with your vacation. Think of it as a week vacation away from your regular game saves.
- It doesn't sound that way at all :/ In addition to the title, the gurus comments show that they very much focused on the element of living in Sulani despite the vacation-ish looking activities.
- MadameleeNew Rookiethis is NOT a vaction pack since you can LIVE in the world-you couldn't do that with the "Bon Voyage" in the Sims 2 or the "Vaction EP" of the Sims 1. You couldn't do it in World Adventures (which wasn't really a vaction EP) with the Sims 3.

You couldn't do that in those EP's because they were vacation EP's. Try Island Paradise. "MadameLee;c-17099791" wrote:

You could work up to owning a home and living in a vacation destination indefinitely in a previous iteration of the game."Sk8rblaze;c-17099764" wrote:
It just seems very confusing/inconsistent to make a game pack with a vacation destination, but then an expansion with another vacation destination, except you can live in it.
Why not just make ONE vacation expansion pack with three very distinct/different destinations, with a hotel system, as well as a purchasable vacation home system? If anything, THEN add extra locations through game packs?
I guess the way things were run in The Sims 2 were just backwards to Maxis now.
Ikr. Especially since Sims 4 was such a callback to Sims 2.- LatinaBunnyNew SpectatorIt’s a home world, like Island Paradise.
(Which is what I prefer, personally.) "MadameLee;c-17099791" wrote:

Of course WA was a vacation pack, just not focused on leisuring. I wonder, does the fact it’s not a vacation world mean that your sim has to go home every night? Or can you spend the night there in some way? I’d prefer the latter myself. A hotel, a tent, is that possible?
