Spa Day Question

I haven't played in a while but I do believe the lot has to be either gym or spa for the instructor mat. You may be able to pull it up with the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat for other lots but not sure if it will work as an instructor mat.

Or try searching it in search bar. You can also go to a spa or gym, put an instructor mat in a room, save the room, put that room on that beach and move the mat to the place you want it to be.

It's called the Zen again yoga mat and is in Activities and skills and looks like a green rolled up rug in the / position!

I'd isolate the pack and have a look in the Maxis "rooms" that go with it. It's in the Private practice one. I usually buy and stick a relevant room in the lot grounds and pick the stuff out of it I want. It's much faster and you can get rid of the bits you don't want and the room afterwards. It saves all that catalogue searching. :)

@Simburian : Thank you as well, I can find the zen again mat... I'm just looking for the one that has the instructor mat. Being able to isolate by pack is awesome, isn't it? I'll try looking for the room too!

I think you can only find it if you are in a gym or a spa. Maybe try to set your lot to spa, put the mat down and then set your lot back to what it was?

The instructor mat only turns up when the lot is designated a Spa or Gym and that set's items are at the bottom of the search list as Spa Items when that function is chosen for the lot.

@joRN1414 The Instructor doesn't turn up for me unless the lot is designated a spa or gym even though the instructor mat is put there. I've just tried it as a room on a residential lot in Newcrest. Sims can do yoga there but no NPC turns up.

I built a Spa in Sulani using Maxis spa rooms as a base, plus a bedroom (you could possibly add more) and kitchen diner and my Sim could practically live there and need not go back to their own lot for several days. All the Spa interactions were there plus a deck, bar and swimming. Put in loads of those Spa lockers and toilets and loads of Sims turn up and walk about in towels. I think the Spa comes into it's own in Sulani.

It was more like a luxurious hotel for my Sim.

Someone might know of a mod. I don't use them myself.

I think what I am ultimately going to do is put a few yoga mats out on the beach. Especially since an interested Sim will just go do yoga. I could have something resembling a class. (or a hot mess, but that's fun too!) My biggest worry there is disappearing yoga mats because it can go in peoples inventory.

I like your idea of a spa in Sulani. Since it is Island-based it could be more lush and resort-like.
