I haven't tested it with the awards in particular, but you should be able to pack just about anything. If you install that mod, you can just buy a crate in build, click on it to "enable packing", and then click on basically anything on the lot and you'll have an option to "pack in crate." Then, you can stick the crate in you're sim's inventory, move house, and unpack it when you get there.
I haven't checked on any mods lately so I don't know if it's up to date, but it's a pretty simple object mod really and it lasted through several patches when I was playing with it before. I'll try to track it down when I have a minute, since of course I can't remember who made it off the top of my head. You might be able to find it just by googling tho.
